Frequently asked questions

What’s your AREA OF expertise?

We create, design, strategise and develop soft good products (also known as cut and sewn products). We can design most things made out of fabric and soft materials. We develop bags, wallets and accessories. Our expertise is not in hard good design, so we won’t be designing the next best drill ever.

Do you work internationally?

We love being global. That’s where our expertise is. We believe we are citizens of the world and we shouldn’t be limited by borders. We are here to help no matter where you are.

What about Sustainable design?

Sustainable brands are built over time and we support our clients in making design and production decisions that support their sustainability goals.

Are you available to work with us on-site?

Absolutely. In some cases it is highly recommended to bring us over. You can save time and investment by creating what we call sprints. Those sprints should be planned in critical stages during projects so we reduce unnecessary back and forth communications and speed up decision making processes. We don’t visit to shake hands and go to expensive lunches, we visit to get things done.

We want to start small, is that a problem?

Agile thinking and a lean approach is part of our DNA. We recommend starting with a smaller project as it reduces the risk for you and allows us to deliver targeted solutions. We also love the challenge of a bigger project, we just break them into smaller parts.

We want lots and lots of ideas, can you do that?

Traditional design agencies often provide hundreds of sketches, post-its from floor to ceiling. We don’t do that. Our design process is based on agile development adapted to soft good design requirements. We spend more time asking the right questions and setting better objectives, enabling us to find the quickest path to a successful outcome.

What about leather development?

Leather is a tricky subject, but luckily we know leather!  We can help by making more deliberate decisions on how to develop more eco friendly leathers. We strongly support the Leather Working Group and their rating system for tanneries.

We want cheap and Fast, can you do it?

We don’t do fast food nor fast design. If you're interested in doing it right, but still on the fence, click here and check out what some of our clients have to say about us

Do you design materials other than soft goods and accessories?

To fully support a product experience the packaging needs to be a crucial part of the customer experience. We love creating that interaction whenever possible. That beautiful introduction before a product is handled.
